En-dehors du réseau européen EPODE, qui regroupe à la base les pays d’Europe, d’autres pays non européens peuvent avoir envie d’adapter et de mettre en œuvre la méthodologie EPODE.
Un programme similaire à EPODE, appelé OPAL, a été lancé récemment dans le sud de l’Australie, sous la houlette du Ministère de la Santé (voir ci-joint).

OPAL by EPODE in South Australia
The State Government's announced details of a push to improve the health of young South Australians - helping mums, dads and families to eat well, move more and live longer.
The new five-year, $22.3m Obesity Prevention and Lifestyle (OPAL) programme is aimed at tackling chronic disease in the community by starting at the beginning - with children. OPAL is based on the EPODE methodology.
