EEN Organisation
Four committees and one coordinating team
For the three years duration of the project, an EEN Coordinating Team, based at Protéines in Paris, oversees the planning and structure of the programme as well as fulfilment of its objectives and the development of the previously-mentioned guidelines.
The EEN is coordinated and managed by the EEN Coordinating Team,at Protéines, and is structured around an EEN Board, four committees and an International Advisory Board. The committees involve associated partners from different European universities and institutions as well as invited key experts. The committees implement the agreed work plan and cover the following areas:
- A committee for the involvement of political representatives
- A scientific evaluation and dissemination committee
- A methods and social marketing committee and
- A public and private partnerships committee.

The independent International Advisory Board gives a critical view on EEN activities and, on the other hand, already gives a critical appraisal of EPODE existing data and evaluation schemes.
